Among the features in our VPS control panel, users have the option to rebuild their VPS. This process will wipe the existing VPS and reinstall the operating system.
When it comes to rebuilding, users have two primary options:
1. Manual ISO
2. Automatic Template

1. Manual ISO
What is it?
The Manual ISO option allows users to manually install an operating system that is not supported by cloud_init (see below), such as Windows.
Why use it?
You need to install an OS not available in our automatic templates.
You want full control over the installation process.
Steps to use Manual ISO:
- Log into the VPS control panel.
2. Navigate to the Rebuild section.
3. Choose the Manual ISO option.
4. Select your desired ISO from the list.
4. Click on Rebuild and wait for the process to complete.
5. Reboot the VPS, then connect to Console during the boot stage.
2. Automatic Template
What is it?
The Automatic Template option utilizes cloud images sourced directly from the OS developers. These images come with pre-configured settings optimized for a smooth experience. However, some minor cloud_init configuration changes might be made to ensure compatibility with our systems.
Why use it?
Quick and hassle-free OS installation.
Ensure optimized settings for your VPS.
Avoid manual configuration and potential errors.

What is cloud_init?
